Gharib Abadi submits credentials to UNIDO chief

TEHRAN – Kazem Gharib Abadi, Iran’s representative to the Vienna-based international organizations, has submitted his credentials to Li Yong, director general of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
During their meeting, Gharib Abadi said the Islamic Republic has always supported UNIDO and that the two sides have been cooperating in joint projects for years, Fars reported on Wednesday.
Pointing to the expansion of ties between Tehran and UNIDO, the envoy said Iran will continue its support of the international body and aims to boost its cooperation with it.
